Dipolog, Zamboanga del Norte - "Mga 50 porsentong nakaw na sasakyan mula sa Luzon at Metro Manila ay dinadala sa Mindanao " ayon kayZamboanga del Norte Provincial Chief ng Highway Patrol Group P/Inspector Leopoldo A. Macalindol.
Umabot na sa 8 sasakyan ang na recover mula noong 2010 hanggang kahapon na kung saan isa namang Toyota Vios ang nasabat sa Pulauan Port, ng Dapitan City kahapon mga alas 4:45 ng umaga habang sinista dahil sa paglabag ng hindi paggamit ng seatbelt (RA8750) at kahinahinalang mga papeles.Ito ay may plakang NIO772 kulay puti at nakarehistro kay Nikolas Frank D.Devera ng 32 Flr GT Tower International, Ayala Avenue, Salcedo St. Makati City.
Ayon kay Macalindol ang nabanggit na sasakyan ay mula sa Cagayan de Oro City at isasakay sana ng barko papuntang Dumaguete City ng matiyempuhan ng HPG sa pangunguna ni Chief Macalindol habang sila nagsasagawa ng malawakang Anti-carnapping operation sa pagpapatupad ng RA 6539 (anti canapping law ng 1972) anti hi jacking,anti highway robbery law,RA 4136 at ng iba pang batas trapiko tulad ng "No plate No travel policy". .
Ayon sa hepe ng HPG, ang kotse ay nasa listahan ng wanted motor vehicle kaya madali nilang nakilala.Ang kotsa ay minamaneho ni Hashim Dee Balabaran,may asawa ng Dalicandos,Maguindanao.
Sa isinagawang occular inspection nabago ang chassis number at ang engine number kaya kinumbida ang dryber at sa pansamantalang dinala ang sasakyan sa HPG station.
Sa isinagawang pagsisiyasat sa Vehicle information Management System (VIMS) ang sasakyan ay nasa Hold order motor vehicle sa ilalim ng Hold order # 20101008 na may plakang NIO 772.
Ayon kay Macalindol ang sasakyan na ay tampered at na i rehistro sa Land transportation Office (LTO) Tubod,Lanao del Norte. Ang tanggapan ng LTO tubod,Lanao del Norte ay pilit na tinatawagan sa kanilang paliwanag ngunit hindi ito sumasagot

Ayon kay Macalindol mahigit sa 600 na sasakyan na Toyota Vios ang diumanoy nawawala sa Metro Manila na ang 50 porsento nito ay pinaniniwalaang dinadala sa Mindanao.

Maliban sa Toyota Vios, 2 Nissan Urban,Crosswind,Estrada,Montero sports,Everest Ford,Adventure at Toyota Vios.

Samantala, sa isang text message ni HPG Director General Espina "part of our vigorous campaign to neutralization of syndicates and recovery of stolen vehicles" ng ipa alam sa kanya ang matagumpay na operation ng kanyang mga tauhan sa Zamboanga del Norte.

HPG recovered 8 carnapped vehicles in Zanorte- JONG CADION

Zamboanga del Norte – The Zanorte Provincial Highway Patrol Team, Highway Patrol Group 9 recovered at least 8 carnapped vehicles within their area of responsibility.

 

These are the carnapped vehicles recovered, 2 Nisssan Urban, Crosswind, Estrada, Montero Sports, Everest, Adventure and Toyota Vios.

 

Recently, 2 vehicles were intercepted in Dapitan City, while the HPG operatives conducting intensified Anti-Carnapping Operations led by the Provincial Chief P/Inspector Leopoldo A. Macalindol following the national alarm.

 

On May 8, 2011 at about 7:30 early morning one Ford Everest was spotted and flagged down in San Pedro, Dapitan City,  Zanorte for an initial violation of passenger and driver not wearing seatbelt (RA 8750) and the other vehicle is a Toyota Vios was intercepted along the vicinity of Pulauan Port also in Dapitan City at about 9:45 in the morning on May 10, 2011.

 

"When accosted, the driver later on identified as James Antiquina Estrellanes, Filipino, 30 years of age, presently residing at Linay, Manukan, Zanorte, and with driver's license number M02-03-001227. He presented a machine copies of Certificate of Registration (CR) with CR number 6460760-5 dated January 26, 2007 and Official Receipt (OR) with OR number 943379942 issued dated March 30, 2011 and registered under his name. Ocular inspection made on the actual chassis and engine numbers revealed that it was exactly the same as appearing and encoded on the LTO Certificate of Registration," P/Inspector Macalindol said.

 

Initial investigation disclosed that the attached plate number (ZAJ 834) was reportedly lost/recovered (thru VIMS) plate from different Motor Vehicle but with the same description as Ford Everest 4x2mt, same year model, 2007, and same color, silver. Verification made thru HPG Vehicle Information Management System (VIMS) appeared that said Motor Vehicle was included in the list of Wanted/Stolen motor vehicle nationwide as of this date with Alarm Number 2009-0722-215 reportedly forcibly taken, thus, prompting the apprehending team to invite the driver and brought the said motor vehicle to the HPG office for investigation and for proper disposition, while request for Macro-Etching was forwarder at PNP-PCLO-9 for physical examination.

           

The Toyota Vios was intercepted by the HPG operatives during on their mobile patrol conducting an intensified Anti-Carnapping Operation in the implementation of RA 6539 (Anti-Carnapping Law of 1972) Anti-Hijacking, Anti Highway Robbery Law, RA 4136 and other Traffic Laws specifically "No Plate, No Helmet, No Travel Policy" along the vicinity of Dapitan City Pulauan Port, Dapitan City, Zamboanga del Norte.

 

Sporting spurious documents, of a motor vehicle was recovered, more specifically described as follows:

After the ocular inspection made on the actual chassis and engine number revealed the following results: engine# 2NZ320487, chassis# SCP91009885 which is different on the certificate of registration presented (engine# 2NZ5937195, chassis# NCP929039507) thus, prompting the apprehending officer to invite the driver and brought the said motor vehicle to this office for further verification/investigation.

 

"We invited the driver in our office for some clarification and later he was identified as Hashim Dee Balabaran, of legal age, Filipino, with postal address of Dalicandos, Maguindanao and carrying professional Driver's License with DL No. K04-0-083249. He later on presented machine copy of Certificate of Registration (CR) with CR number 10596767-6 issued on March 27, 2011, covering M/V File number 1008-00000027522, and Official Receipt (OR) with OR number 965518094 issued on March 27, 2011, with LTO license plate number NIO 722, and registered under the name of a certain Nikolas Frank D. Devera of 32 Floor GT Tower International Ayala Ave., Salcedo St., Makati City." P/Inspector Macalindol added.                        

 

Initial investigation, discovered that the real chassis number of the said vehicle was NCP929018460 and engine number 2NZ5495986 found at the rating plate attached on its compartment. Verification made thru Vehicle Information Management System (VIMS) of such engine and chassis numbers was found out included in the list of Hold Order motor vehicle under Hold Order# 20101008 bearing with same plate number NIO 772.

 

Said motor vehicle was presently impounded at HPG office to undergo the per-requisites physical identification thru macro-etching examination by the PNP Crime Laboratory, while the case was preparing for the filling of appropriate charges in court against the suspect.

 

It was learned that more than 600 units of assorted vehicles of different brand was reportedly carnapped in Metro Manila and 50 percent was believed to be transported here in Mindanao, HPG Provincial Chief disclosed.

LGU ng Dapitan nag papakain ng libre sa mga atleta ng palaro -MARIZ REVALES at RIC CLET

                

     Dapitan, Zambo Norte- May  10,000 atleta at mga opisyal mula sa 17 rehiyon ay pinapakain ng libre ng host ciy ng Dapian sa pangunguna ni Mayor Dominador Jalosjos,Jr ng 50 kilo ng bigas,gulay,isda at karne mula Mayo 8 hanggang Mayo 14,2011.

Ayon kay City councilor Apple Agulong,Committee chairperson of Tourism sinabi nio na si Mayor Dominador Jalosjos,Jr araw araw araw hanggang matapos ang Palaro ay libreng mamamahagi ng pagkain tulad ng  bigas ,isda,gulay at karne sa kanilang mga quarter.

Sinagot din ni Agulong ang mga  batikos sa kanila bakit may bayad ang mga manonood sa Palaro. "Wala kaming balak sanang magpabayad sa maga taong gustong manood ngunit dahil sa pagkamatay ni Osama Bin Ladin na kung saan ang Mindanao ay may badya dahil sa insidente at upang ma regulate ang mga tao for securiy  reason ang host city ay  nag desisyon na i impose ang bayad ng P100 bawat manonood. Nagpapabayad ang mamagement ay humingi ng bayad after  7 o clock  lamang ", ayon kay Agulong.

Ayon pa rin kay Agulong ang kanilang kinokolektahan na may bayad ay tulad ng Sarah Geronimo concert.

Pinaliwanag din niya na hindi ito ang kauna unahan na ang host city ay nagpabayad sa maga manonood.Nangyari din anya ito sa  Dipolog Ciy noong taong  1982 Palarong Pambansa..

Sa panayam kay dating  Congressman Romeo Jalosjos na siyang tumatayong overall chairman ng Palaro sinabi niya na ang concern national agency ay walang naibigay na financial budget sa Palaro at nag kataon lang na ang kanayang mga anak na puliiko ay tumulong at  ang kanyang mga kaibigan  sa kongreso  at senado kaya natuloy ang Palaro sa Dapitan City.

Sinabi ni Jalosjos na tiyak magiging makasaysayan ang pagdalaw ng mga atleta at mga panauhin sa Dapitan Ciy  dahil sa mayamang kasaysayan nito tulad na lamang ng pagtira ni nasyonal hero Dr.Jose Rizal dito at ang mga turismong atrakson tulad ng Dakak Beach Resort, Dr.Jose Rizal Shrine,Bay at River Cruise at ang taonang Hudyaka sa Zanorte at ang Gloria Fantasyland tulad ng Star Ciy sa Metro Manila,

Nanawagan si Agulong na huwag silang batikusin bagkos tulungan silang ma i angat ang siyudad ng Dapitan  City sa  turismo."Kailangan namin ang kanilang suporta hindi ang kanilang batikos dahil nagawa namin ang dapat gawin upang manalo na mag host ng Palaro ngayong taon", ayon ka Agulong.

Ang tema ng Palarong Pambansa 2011 ay "Enshrining School Sport", Ang Palaro ngayong taon ay sumasabay sa  ika 150 anibersaryo ng kaarawang ni Dr. Jose Rizal a ang ika 100 anibersaryo ng organized sports  in the country.
