Army’s 65th responded to shooting incident

                              Shooting incident Datu Saber, Marawi City- A resident of Brgy Datu Saber, Marawi City was shot by Two (2) unidentified gum men and fled after the incident.

                 On January 13, 2011 at about 10:15 in the morning, a certain Dampi Palala, 42 years old, and a resident of Brgy Datu Saber, Marawi City was shot by Two (2) unidentified gun men who immediately fled using a single motorcycle with no plate number at the vicinity of Naisif Store, Brgy Datu Saber, Marawi City. The victim suffered One (1) gunshot wounds at the lower part of his jaw and eventually rushed at Amai Pakpak Medical Center, Marawi City for treatment and medication.

                Immediately, the elements of 65th Infantry (Stalwart) Battalion, 9th Infantry Division, Philippine Army responded on the incident for possible apprehension of the suspects, but then, it able to be fugitive and still at large. In coordination with the PNP Marawi City investigation on the said incident was undertaken.

               Thus through the quick response of the Stalwart Troopers in such event, the residents as well as the stake holders lifted up the trust and confidence to the Philippine Army.
