June 10, 2013,Monday , the day when the
people of Kauswagan, Lanao del Norte were on rally and even to the brim of
picketing. According to ousted mayor Rommel Arnado, people of kauswagan, Lanao
del Norte do not want him to vacate his post in the Municipal Hall.
"We are
against the take- over of the mayoralty seat by Mayor Casan Maquiling, even
there is that order of the Supreme Court (SC) which executes the decision of the
Commission on Election (Comelec)," the woman in the podium loudly said as
translated from her vernacular statements,
From the observers like us, the
problem was a choice between the elector’s choice Rommel Arnado and the SC
installed Mayor Casan Maquiling. "No one is above the law," said the
lawyer of Mayor Maquiling Atty. Badelles Macaan.
Since the SC is the highest
Court of Justice, the decision therefore, is a law. As such, Mayor Casan
Maquiling must be allowed to take over the Mayor's Office without objection and
friction, But greater than what the law can afford, the misled people and the
misleading political leaders pretended not to understand the
execution of the SC on the seat though this was illegally obtained.
Seemingly it was illegally
obtained because of the Local Government Code prohibits any dual citizen and
non -Filipino to seek elective position in any Local Government Unit (LGU). And
the highest judiciary court has ruled. "Let the law prevail," a short
statement from Atty. Macaan.
Following this
theorem, the ousted Mayor Arnado is trying to ignore the law. As the choice of
the people, he can solve therefore, the problem by correctly teaching his
people on the strength of the law. "People power can only work when there
is criminal offense of the incoming Mayor,” Professor Joseph M. Sanguila told
the media. “President Marcos versus the late president Aquino was another case.
The latter was defeated through election fraud." Prof Sanguila
explained. "The people power then was the instrument to correct the
frauds." Prof Sanguila disclosed.
"The
Arnado-Maquiling case has been corrected by the Comelec and the SC, therefore
,it is lawful and cleansed of criminal and administrative charges,"
Sanguila explained.
" As a
good leader, Arnado should not mislead his supporters,"Sanguila close.
"The
case at issue at the moment is disqualification. It only means, there was violation of
the law committed by Arnado even at the start," an elderly man in
the street said, but requested anonymity.
Therefore, TPPIG
generalized that the Kauswagan, Lanao del Norte chaos is but a matter of
mental conditioning .Ousted Mayor Arnado, having been duly informed of the
decision of the SC should ask his people go home and live at peace with the
law. The solution of the problem actually resides in the heart and mind of
ousted Mayor Arnado.

Sometimes in our hurry to transact things we may use available documents...how honest are the lawmakers to use passport instead of ctc or driver's licence instead of a passport or national certificate instead of IDs...in all these acts, nothing defines renouncing of his person! In islam, eating pork to salvage faith is a form of taqiyyah...this made our lawmakers blind and bookish...esu!
