65IB conducted “Chalk –Para kayTeacher” A gift giving activity in support to education

Marawi City- The 65IB conducted a gift giving activity in support to education entitled "Chalk Para kay Teacher" with thirty seven (37) boxes  of chalk to Dr. Gloria Galo-Darimbang ,Assistant Schools Divison held at the Department of Education (DepEd) Divison of Lanao del Sur District 2-A based at Datu Alkader  Street here .  The 65th Infantry (Stalwart) Battalion 9th Infantry Division Philippine Army led by LTC Siegred J. Espina INF (GSC) PA currently under the operational control of 103rd brigade 1st Infantry (TABAK) Division PA.   The theme activity was: "Stalwart troopers on their 8th years of excellence in Public Service to the Community" was participated by the available personnel principals and supervisors of DepEd Division of Lanao del Sur District 2-A headed by Dr. Gloria Galo-Darimbang who later rendered her short and congratulatory message to the Stalwart Troopers on the celebration of their 8th Founding anniversary.   Meanwhile, LTC Espina discussed on the role of Philippine Army in the communityhe emphasized that soldiers are public servants and every incentive pay received by the soldiers comes from th taxes of the Filipino people and every Filipino people should experience  the same standards of  services irrespective of where they live. He also discussed about the online internet open document with regards to the strategic plan of the government in pursuing peace and development  in community or the Internal Peace and Security Plan (IPSP) "Bayanihan". He stressed out that the AFP is constitutionally mandated to protect the people and the state. On the other hand, the involvement of the military in  the internal security is continuing and the AFP have been given the lead role in addressing armed threats to internal security .While gain have been achieved by the achieved by the AFP a purely military solution is inadequate the security  concerns being addressed are  many –sided with their armed capability being only one of their components. For these to be effctively addressed a complementary and concerted effort from all stakeholders is necessary. Espina said that IPSP "Bayanihan" is not the AFP's plan alone. It does not exist in a vacuum. The AFP and other sector of the government have anchored on the national security guidance, national defense, policies and is and must be done in conjunction and harmony with other  government policies forpeace security and development.   "Thus, through initiating gift giving activity the Philippine Army had established a full support from the educators to win the peace in order to help the others in the community and to create an environment  conducive for sustainable development  and just and lasting peace.(Captain Orlando Gil C Marquez)
