CIDG’s Flagship Project Oplan “Sagip Angel” successfully rescued sex slave

MAR SABATE and MARIZ REVALES     Iligan City - Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) has successfully rescued 14 years old sex slave here recently.   In a report by CIDG Iligan City that on September 14, 2011 at about 2:00pm, elements of the CIDG team composed of SPO1 Harry Sadiwa an PO2 Eugene Gallana in coordination with Mary Joy lacuna of Bantay Bata Center parent, conducted police operation on dubbed as "Sagip Angel" and successfully rescued    Nene )not her real  name,14 years old at the residence of the alleged suspect in this city.   The report said that upon the complaint of the mother's victim, who appeared personally at the office of CIDG located at Camp Tomas Cabili, Tipanoy, Iligan City revealed that her daughter Nene was raped and abducted by her husband, and was brought to the area where she was sexually abused several times when she was still 11 years old up to present time.   CIDG Provincial Chief said that the case for rape in relation to RA7610 is being prepared for filing before the City Prosecutor's Office of Iligan City.
